Job summary

Meridian Health Services in Connersville is seeking a diligent Support Staff Technician to join our front-desk team. You’ll greet patients, support daily clinic operations, and help manage records, appointments, and payments using NextGen.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years in an office setting, preferably medical, with strong data-entry and communication skills to support a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of office or administrative (medical setting preferred).
• Strong computer and data-entry skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional communication with patients, staff, and the public.
• Answer calls, schedule and reschedule appointments, and route messages.
• Collect co-pays and process payments.
• Manage medical records, releases of information, and new patient charts.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail (USPS, UPS, FedEx).
• Check in patients in NextGen
• (Main Office only) Answer executive phone as needed.
