Job summary

Meridian Health Services is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Support Staff Technician for our pediatrics office. In this front-desk role, you will welcome patients, support daily operations, schedule appointments, collect payments, and help maintain patient charts.

The ideal candidate brings a high school diploma, 2+ years of office experience (medical setting preferred), strong computer and data-entry skills, and excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of office or administrative experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• Strong computer and data-entry skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional communication with patients, staff, and the public.
• Answer calls, schedule and reschedule appointments, and route messages.
• Collect co-pays and process payments.
• Manage medical records, release of information, and new patient charts.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail (USPS, UPS, FedEx).
• Check in patients in NextGen.
• (Main Office only) Answer executive phone as needed.
