Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years related work experience required.
• Broad knowledge of administrative processes and customer service.
• Computer literacy required; Microsoft Office experience preferred (Word & Excel).
• Complete Patient Access training and pass all competency assessments.
• Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate accuracy in scheduling patients using the department system.
• Verify charge codes correspond with diagnostic codes.
• Enter information into billing/registration system.
• Collect accurate demographic and insurance information.
• Greet patients and parents courteously and provide front-desk support.
• Respond to patient portal work lists and inquiries.
