You will work under supervision, handling demographic data, collecting co-pays, and coordinating with care teams across departments. The position offers growth toward senior Patient Access roles within a mission-driven pediatric hospital.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge in administrative processes and customer service.
• Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office, incl. Word and Excel.
• Must pass Patient Access training and competency assessments.
• Typing proficiency of at least 35 words per minute.
• Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate accuracy of scheduling patients using the applicable scheduling system.
• Verify demographics and insurance information for each visit.
• Collect co-payments and deposits and ensure accurate cash handling.
• Provide courteous service to families and coordinate with care teams.
• Assist with billing preparation and documentation per policy.
• Support other ancillary areas as needed.
