Job summary

Responsibilities

Demonstrate accuracy of scheduling patients using the department's scheduling system.
Verify charge codes match diagnostic codes.
Enter information into billing/registration system.
Complete online registration with parent/guardian via phone or in person.
Collect demographic and insurance information; obtain consents and copies of insurance cards.
Obtain pre-authorization/referral information where required.
Collect co-pays, deposits, and payments; assist in meeting department collections targets.
Answer calls, manage voicemail and emails; maintain office files and reception area.
