Playground Pediatrics is seeking a Patient Access Representative to welcome families and manage front-desk duties in a fast-paced pediatric clinic. You’ll handle scheduling, registration, and insurance verification to ensure patients are ready for care on arrival.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, patient service, and collaboration with care teams while maintaining HIPAA standards and delivering a positive, friendly experience for children and their families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience.
• Ability to travel between clinic locations.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Demonstrates HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Answers calls for multiple areas efficiently with standard greetings.
• Verifies and accurately captures patient demographics, insurance, and medical information.
• Schedules appointments using the electronic system and prioritizes patient health concerns by urgency.
• Provides information to patients and callers regarding appointment details, location, and clinic guidelines.
• Processes payments and handles billing issues between patients and insurers.
• Maintains strict confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA/OSHA guidelines.
