Job summary

PM Pediatric Care is seeking a Front Desk Associate to warmly welcome families and manage registration with accuracy. You will handle inquiries, assist with insurance information, and coordinate with the medical team to support a First-class Experience.

This role requires strong communication, multitasking, and a professional demeanor while upholding HIPAA privacy and excellent customer service in a busy pediatric setting.

Qualifications

• Front desk or customer service experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work flexible schedules and travel to another site within reason.
• Knowledge of medical insurance preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets families professionally both in person and on the phone.
• Answers patient/family questions to the best of their ability and seeks clarification when needed.
• Accesses empathy and active listening in difficult interpersonal situations.
• Coordinates escalations and urgent issues to ensure timely resolutions.
• Collaborates with site leadership to manage complex patient issues.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and protects patient confidentiality.
• Manages patient flow during waiting and registration, assisting with self-registration.
• Performs opening and closing duties including stocking, sanitizing, and reconciling.
• Executes other duties as assigned.
