Job summary

PM Pediatric Care is hiring a Front Desk Associate to welcome families and support the medical team. You will register patients, collect demographics and insurance details, and help manage the waiting area with a patient-first mindset.

The role requires strong communication, customer service, and HIPAA privacy awareness, plus the ability to multi-task in a busy healthcare setting. Some computer system usage and basic bookkeeping experience are beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Proficient with basic computer systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet families in person and on the phone.
• Answer patient/family questions and seek clarification when needed.
• Register patients and maintain demographics, insurance, and payments with HIPAA compliance.
• Monitor patient flow and assist families with self-registration when needed.
• Open/close front desk duties, stock supplies, and manage documents.
