Job summary

Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC is seeking an administrative support role to manage patient scheduling, registration, and insurance verification for the Neurology/PM&R clinic. Hours run Monday through Friday, 7am–3:30pm, at 111 Michigan Avenue NW, with supervision from the Clinic Operations team.

Qualifications

• Front desk and scheduling experience preferred.
• Ability to securely handle patient data and demographics.
• Familiarity with insurance information collection and verification.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and register patients professionally and accurately.
• Collect demographic and insurance information and update records.
• Verify insurance eligibility and pre-authorization details.
• Collect co-payments and process payments with receipts.
• Respond to patient inquiries via phone, portal, or in person.
• Maintain clean and organized reception area and office files.
