This role may float to other clinics and supports the care team with a courteous, compliant approach. The position emphasizes accuracy in registration, knowledge of managed care requirements, and ability to work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of billing, patient registration, scheduling, and insurance verification experience required.
• Broad clinic knowledge and strong customer service skills.
• Computer knowledge required; Word & Excel preferred.
• Complete Ambulatory Services training and pass competency assessments; typing 35 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and register patients; greet patients and families professionally.
• Verify insurance and manage eligibility and pre-authorization.
• Collect and verify demographic and insurance information; update systems.
• Assist with billing, cash collection, and timely documentation.
• Provide general office support and ensure clean, organized work areas.
• Promote safety and effective communication within the team.
