Paylocity is seeking a Patient Coordinator to manage the initial prescription, obtain authorization, and schedule treatments. You will welcome patients, collect co-pays, and ensure EMR accuracy and up-to-date paperwork for each visit.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in a medical office, strong communication skills, and the ability to work compassionately with pediatric patients with special needs. Proficiency with EMR is a plus.

• Must have at least two years of experience in a medical office setting.
• Demonstrates compassion to work with pediatric patients with special needs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Prior EMR experience is helpful.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Mansioni

• Welcomes patients and visitors in person and on the telephone, answering inquiries or directing to staff.
• Obtains initial prescription from physicians for patient’s treatment and updates EMR with prescription and expiration date.
• Obtains initial insurance authorization and updates EMR with authorization form and expiration date.
• Schedules appointments for new and existing patients in the EMR and ensures all paperwork is up to date.
• Coordinates with APT staff, referring physicians, and therapists to meet patient needs.
• Assists patients checking in for appointments using the kiosk.
• Collects co-pays or past balances.
• Opens/distributes mail, distributes faxes, and handles daily mail tasks.
• Performs other clerical duties as assigned.
