Shriners Children’s is seeking a Patient Access Representative to be the first point of contact for patients and families, coordinating scheduling and service inquiries with a focus on timely access to care.

The role emphasizes accurate data collection, demographic and insurance details, and facilitation of financial clearance to support seamless patient experiences within a leading pediatric care system.

Competenze

• 3+ years of experience in patient access, scheduling, registration, or healthcare customer service.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with EHR systems and Microsoft 365 is preferred.

Mansioni

• Serve as the front door for scheduling and service inquiries.
• Provide accurate information to patients, families and providers.
• Coordinate scheduling and collect demographics and insurance data.
• Initiate financial clearance such as eligibility verification and pre-certification.
• Identify delays and escalate issues to leadership as appropriate.
• Contribute to ongoing process improvements in scheduling workflows.
