Shriners Children’s is seeking a Patient Access Representative to greet patients, gather demographics, verify insurance, and schedule services efficiently. You will be the first point of contact for families and clinicians, ensuring timely access to care while upholding compassionate service standards.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and experience with electronic health records.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 3 years of experience in patient access, scheduling, registration, or customer service in a healthcare environment.
• Associates degree or higher preferred.
• Experience Utilizing an Electronic Health Record (e.g., Epic, Cerner, etc.).

Mansioni

• Serves as the front door of Shriners Children’s, scheduling patients for requested services.
• Utilizes critical thinking to facilitate scheduling processes.
• Triages calls to appropriate areas per management guidelines.
• Obtains and enters accurate scheduling and registration data in the information system.
