Job summary

The Carpenter Health Network is seeking a PCR Sales Representative to join our patient care team in Lafayette, LA. You will build relationships with physicians and discharge planners to promote home health options and drive referrals.

This role emphasizes market analysis, target achievement, and daily field visits to hospitals, physician offices, and skilled facilities. You will present information clearly, handle referrals, and represent our hospice services with integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field, or two years of progressive experience in marketing and sales.
• At least four years of medical marketing experience, preferably hospice.
• Documented sales success: verifiable sales success/awards from previous positions.
• General computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience with formal sales training preferred.
• Cold calling as well for business generation.
• Must be a highly ethical, self-motivated team player.

Responsibilities

• Build sales relationships by daily interactions with physicians and discharge planners at the hospital to ensure referral/admissions.
• Maintain consistency with market analysis, reflecting referral source targets.
• Maintain sales territory in order to meet census goals and comfortable with sales techniques such as cold calling and contact planning.
• Public speaking, give presentations to organizations, businesses, healthcare professionals (MD’s, RN’s, Hospital Executives).
• Daily visits to physician offices/hospitals/assisted living facilities and SNF’s to educate and inform referral sources and patients of home health options.
