STAT Home Health in Hammond, LA is seeking an experienced Home Health Sales Representative to educate and refer physicians, discharge planners, and facilities about home health options. You will develop and maintain referral relationships, manage an assigned territory, and implement sales plans to meet census goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Marketing, or two years of sales/marketing experience.
• At least two years’ home health experience in health care.
• Documented sales success with verifiable awards.
• MS Office proficiency.
• Cold calling for new business generation.

Responsibilities

• Build sales relationships by daily interactions with physicians and discharge planners at hospitals to drive referral/admissions.
• Daily visits to physician offices, hospitals, assisted living facilities and SNFs to educate and inform referral sources and patients about home health options.
• Maintain sales territory to meet census goals and use market analysis for referral source targets.
• Utilize cold calling and contact planning to develop new business and opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or have two years progressive experience in marketing and sales
• At least two years’ home health experience in health care industry
• Documented sales success; Candidates should have verifiable sales success/awards from previous positions
• General Computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience with formal sales training preferred
• Cold calling as well for business generation
• Must be a highly ethical, self-motivated team player
