Garver is seeking a Payroll Specialist II to join our Finance Team in Nashville. You will process payroll using ADP, reconcile data in HRIS, and ensure timely communication with employees while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Key responsibilities include wage garnishments, state tax compliance, ACA support, and preparation of reports for audits and payroll statements. A strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll experience required.
• Multi-state payroll processing experience.
• Certifications: FPC and/or CPP or equivalent.
• ADP Payroll Certification preferred.
• HIPAA Compliance training provided by Garver.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Publisher; strong communication.
• Must maintain strict confidentiality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll using ADP with high accuracy.
• Enter and reconcile payroll data in HRIS systems.
• Respond to inquiries about payroll changes promptly.
• Administer wage garnishments per laws and IWOs.
• Maintain payroll records for each cycle.
• Ensure local and state tax filing compliance.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
