Job summary

Garver, LLC is seeking a Payroll Specialist II to join our Finance Team in North Little Rock, Arkansas. You will manage multi-state payroll using ADP, ensure accuracy, and maintain strict confidentiality while providing excellent employee service.

Responsibilities include data entry, audits of withholding limits, ACA reporting support, and collaboration with IT and finance. The role requires strong Excel/Publisher skills and a detail-oriented, fast-paced mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of payroll experience.
• Multi-State payroll processing experience.
• FPC and/or CPP certification.
• ADP Payroll Certification.
• HIPAA Compliance Training completed.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Publisher.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll using ADP with high accuracy.
• Enter and reconcile payroll data in HRIS systems and spreadsheets.
• Respond to payroll inquiries the same day.
• Maintain payroll records for each bi-weekly cycle.
• Ensure compliance with tax filing requirements.
• Audit payroll withholding limits per IRS regulations.
• Support ACA reporting requirements.
• Handle off-cycle payrolls with quick turnaround.
• Assist with monthly financial statements prep.
• Submit Bureau of Labor Statistics reports as needed.
• Improve payroll procedures for efficiency.
• Create/update payroll training guides.
• Support external audits and special projects.
