Job summary

Garver is seeking a Payroll Specialist II to join our Finance Team in New Orleans, LA. You will manage payroll processing, data entry in HRIS, and respond to payroll inquiries in collaboration with the Corporate Payroll Manager.

Key responsibilities include ensuring accuracy across biweekly payrolls, tax filings, wage garnishments, ACA reporting, and preparation of monthly statements. A focus on confidentiality and strong Excel/Publisher skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll experience.
• Multi-State payroll processing experience.
• FPC and/or CPP certification.
• ADP Payroll Certification.
• HIPAA Compliance Training provided by Garver.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll using ADP with a high degree of accuracy.
• Enter and reconcile payroll data in HRIS systems and spreadsheets.
• Monitor payroll inbox daily and respond to inquiries the same day.
• Maintain accurate payroll records for each biweekly payroll cycle.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and municipal tax filing requirements.
• Prepare and submit Bureau of Labor Statistics reports as required.
