Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC seeks a Payroll Supervisor to own payroll for a multi-state workforce, partnering with HR, Benefits, Finance, and Operations. The role leads a small payroll team and ensures accurate, on-time processing.

Based in Wisconsin, the position offers a blend of in-office and remote work (one day from home per week) with strong benefits including PTO, medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with profit sharing, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on payroll experience, preferably supporting a multi-state workforce.
• Experience leading a payroll team.
• Degree in accounting, business, HR or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review timekeeping, wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, garnishments, and employee changes while resolving discrepancies before payroll is finalized.
• Oversee a small team of payroll specialists.
• Partner with HR, Benefits, Finance, and Operations to resolve payroll issues, maintain accurate employee data, and provide payroll reporting and support.
• Identify and implement process improvements, strengthen payroll controls, support system updates, and help ensure payroll procedures remain efficient and compliant.
