Job summary

Wis-Pak Inc. in Windsor, Wisconsin is seeking a Payroll Lead to direct payroll operations for a multi-state workforce, combining hands-on processing with team leadership.

You will ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely reporting while partnering with HR, Finance, Benefits, and Operations to optimize payroll processes. The role requires strong payroll systems knowledge, multi-state tax expertise, and a continuous improvement mindset in a hybrid work environment, four days on-site and one day

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience including multi-state payroll.
• Experience leading payroll professionals and working with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees across multiple states.
• Ensure accurate wages, deductions, bonuses, and benefit withholdings while maintaining compliance.
• Oversee audits, year-end reports, and payroll tax filings; support internal/external audits.
