Wis-Pak in Windsor, Wisconsin, offers a hybrid role for Payroll Lead, overseeing payroll for hourly and salaried staff across multiple states. You will lead two payroll professionals and partner with HR, Finance, Benefits, and Operations to ensure accurate, compliant payroll and continuous improvement.

The position is based in Windsor with a hybrid schedule (onsite four days, remote one day per week) to balance collaboration and flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field and 5+ years of multi-state payroll experience.
• Experience leading payroll professionals and handling hourly and salaried staff.
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems, tax administration, and reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll processing across multiple states.
• Oversee a two-person payroll team and ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate year-end activities (W-2s, filings) and audits.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Benefits, and Operations to improve processes.
