Job summary

Asset Protection and Security is seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor to manage end-to-end payroll for hundreds of employees. This full-time role covers a distributed or remote workforce, with a standard Mon-Fri schedule and occasional after-hours work to complete tasks.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of payroll experience, strong knowledge of multi-state payroll tax laws, and proficiency with Proliant or QuickBooks Payroll. Confidential handling of data is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of high-volume payroll experience or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of federal and state payroll tax laws and regulations (multi-state experience preferred).
• Experience with payroll software such as Proliant or QuickBooks Payroll.

Responsibilities

• Process and administer high-volume payroll for hundreds of employees bi-weekly.
• Monitor and apply changes in federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Enter hours, earnings, deductions, and tax withholdings accurately.
• Serve as the primary corporate contact for payroll questions and tax forms.
• Prepare and distribute W-2s and other annual tax documents.
• Maintain and update employee payroll files and statuses.
• Audit payroll runs and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
