Ryder System, Inc. in Dover, Delaware is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to replace a resigning employee and maintain accurate, timely payroll processing for 5,000–7,000 employees across multiple states.

You will handle weekly and semi-monthly payroll, wage and deduction calculations, and respond to complex payroll questions from employees and management. The role requires 3+ years of payroll experience, multi-state processing, and a HS diploma.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED is required.
• 3–5 years of payroll/finance or related experience.
• Multi-state payroll processing experience required.
• FPC and/or CPP designation preferred

Responsibilities

• Inputs data to payroll systems for weekly and semi-monthly payroll, updating earnings and deductions.
• Runs pre-payroll audit reports to ensure accuracy.
• Completes payroll processing including wage payments, deductions, and off-cycle payments.
• Responds to payroll questions from employees and management.
• Audits earnings/deductions and prepares management reports.
• Maintains confidentiality of employee and company data.
• Audits field-submitted payroll information for accuracy and compliance.
