Job summary

AXS seeks a Manager, Payments and Fraud to lead macro-level analytics for payment performance and fraud risk. You will leverage advanced SQL, dashboards, and payments knowledge to drive authorization uplift, reduce costs, and mitigate fraud across markets and providers.

You will partner with major networks and internal teams, build scalable analytics, guide product and engineering decisions, and eventually lead a growing analytics function with direct reports as the team expands.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of hands-on SQL analysis with large datasets.
• 4-6 years in payments analytics, fraud analytics, or related field.
• 4-6 years leading cross-functional initiatives and coaching analysts.
• Advanced SQL skills for joining, validating, and interpreting large datasets.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau/Looker) and cloud data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead deep-dive analysis of payment data across markets and methods to identify opportunities.
• Analyze fraud, chargebacks, disputes, and losses at portfolio level and recommend changes.
• Build KPIs, SQL analyses, dashboards, and executive reports with data-quality controls.
• Develop business cases and lead cross-functional optimization initiatives.
