Job summary

AXS is seeking a Manager, Fraud Prevention to lead financial compliance across processes, defining the strategy and monitoring adherence. You will oversee a fraud team, shape policy and collaborate across departments to strengthen chargeback and payment operations.

The role requires extensive fraud prevention experience, team leadership, and strong analytical skills in SQL and Excel. A comprehensive benefits package accompanies a full-time onsite position in Los Angeles.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Fraud Prevention.
• 2+ years experience managing teams.
• Strong understanding of Payment operations and anti-Fraud and chargeback systems.
• Familiarity with SQL or scripting Languages.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Adept at collaboration and teamwork.
• Familiarity with Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Manage fraud team daily operations, set priorities, schedule, and monitor KPIs.
• Oversee development of policies and procedures to reduce fraud and recover losses.
• Own the team development roadmap; allocate resources and evaluate tools.
• Collaborate with other departments as SME for Global Fraud, Chargebacks and Payments ops.
• Contribute input to budget decisions and functional strategy.
• Provide timely feedback and lead performance reviews to drive engagement and growth.
