Job summary

AEG Worldwide seeks a Manager, Payments and Fraud Analytics to lead portfolio-level analytics across payment performance and fraud risk. You will use advanced SQL, data visualization, and payments expertise to drive authorization uplift, reduce costs, and improve reliability across markets, channels, and providers.

The role collaborates with Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, ACI, Braintree, Stripe, and internal teams, with growth into people management as the analytics function expands.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of hands-on advanced SQL analysis using large transaction-level datasets and development of dashboards.
• 4-6 years of payments analytics, fraud analytics, or related field.
• 4-6 years of experience leading cross-functional initiatives and coaching analysts.
• Advanced SQL skills to join, validate, segment, and interpret large datasets.
• Experience with Tableau, Looker or similar tools and Snowflake or cloud data platforms.
• Knowledge of card payments, routing, settlement, chargebacks, and fraud controls.
• Experience with payment networks (Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, ACI, Braintree, Stripe).
• Ability to frame ambiguous questions, quantify impact, and recommend actions.
• Ability to communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead deep-dive analysis of payment data (authorization, decline, conversion, routing, costs).
• Analyze fraud, chargeback, and loss data at portfolio level and recommend changes.
• Build and maintain KPIs, SQL analyses, dashboards, and executive reporting.
• Develop business cases and lead cross-functional optimization initiatives.
• Monitor high-volume sales and material events; translate incidents into actions.
• Partner with payment providers to review performance and drive improvements.
• Advise leadership on priorities and policy changes; communicate financial impact.
• Establish operating model and coach analysts as team grows.
