Job summary

Oak Street Health welcomes you to join our team as a Welcome Coordinator to create an inclusive environment for patients and guests. You will be the face of our clinic, handling visit check-in, required forms, and greeting patients with a high-touch, friendly approach.

You will also schedule appointments, collect co-pays, update EMR data, manage phone lines and faxes, and ensure the Welcome/Community Rooms stay welcoming and organized. Occasional travel to nearby centers may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of Google Suite.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by communities we serve.
• US work authorization.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests.
• Check-in patients and assist with required forms.
• Collect co-pays.
• Update patient information in the electronic medical record platform.
• Schedule/reschedule appointments within the EMR.
• Manage phone lines, take messages, and conduct outbound calls.
• Handle faxes in the electronic fax platform.
• Maintain the Welcome and Community Room areas.
• May float to other centers in the region on an infrequent basis.
• Other duties as assigned.
