Responsibilities

Greet customers professionally and maintain courteous interactions.
Ensure all field phlebotomy and PSC specimens are collected accurately and on time.
Explain venipuncture and specimen collection procedures to patients clearly.
Dispose of biohazard materials according to laws and policies.
Enter patient and test information into PathGroup systems accurately.
Prepare and label specimens following test orders and transport guidelines.
Maintain daily logs and prepare monthly statistics as needed.
Perform light clerical tasks and electronic data entry.
Communicate with supervisors about issues and workflow.
