Job summary

PathGroup is seeking a Patient Services Technician under the direction of the area supervisor to perform daily patient service activities in the Patient Services Center or in-office PST, interacting with clients, patients and PathGroup personnel in a professional and courteous manner while performing specimen collection and processing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred (may be required based on state guidelines).
• Phlebotomist Certification preferred. (Required in Louisiana).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and maintain courteous service.
• Collect specimens accurately and on time following procedures.
• Enter patient and test information into PathConnect with high accuracy.
• Maintain records and logs for PSC/IOPST and monthly stats.
