Job summary

PathGroup is seeking a Patient Services Technician to perform daily patient service activities in the PSC or in-office setting under the direction of the area supervisor. You will handle forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing with professionalism and accuracy.

The role involves greeting clients, collecting specimens, entering data into PathConnect, labeling and processing specimens, and supporting monthly statistics. On-site work in Atlanta, GA is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred ( Louisiana requirements ).
• At least 1 year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers professionally and courteously.
• Ensures all phlebotomy/PSC specimens are collected accurately and on time.
• Collects specimens and explains venipuncture process clearly to patients to reduce anxiety.
