Job summary

PathGroup is seeking a Patient Services Technician to support the PSC and in-office settings. You will perform phlebotomy, specimen processing, and data entry with a strong focus on accuracy and patient comfort.

The role requires professional interaction with clients, patients, and staff, adherence to safety and privacy policies, and reliable documentation and follow-up throughout the specimen handling process.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Phlebotomist Certification preferred (Louisiana requirement).
• Experience in patient-facing role is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a courteous manner.
• Collect specimens accurately and on time per procedures.
• Explain venipuncture and specimen collection processes.
• Enter patient and test information into the system with high accuracy.
• Maintain records and logs for PSC/IOPST tasks.
