Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Patient Services Representative to join our team across multiple sites, including Winfield (CDH) and Geneva (Delnor). You will greet patients, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and schedule appointments while delivering exceptional customer service in-person and over the phone.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years in customer service, a high school diploma or GED, and working knowledge of medical terminology.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of customer service experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and register them, verify insurance, and collect co-pays.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Coordinate scheduling of outside testing for patients.
• Serve as liaison between patient and practice.
• Ensure patient privacy and safety in daily work.
• Complete daily reconciliation of charges.
• Process and file charts and test results.
