Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of physician office experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and register them, verify insurance, collect co-pays and balances.
• Update patient demographics and company information.
• Answer phone and schedule appointments.
• Coordinate scheduling of outside testing for patients.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and safety in daily tasks.
• Review charts prior to appointments and ensure consent and insurance card validity.
