Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a healthcare setting; physician office experience preferred
• Strong customer service focus with attention to detail and multitasking ability
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with diverse populations
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and caregivers and verify identity; document arrival and location in the EMR
• Schedule and manage patient appointments, including new patients, follow-ups, referrals, and tests
• Update and maintain patient demographics; manage medical records and documentation in EMR and billing systems
• Process and post patient payments and co-pays; coordinate with Financial Counselor as needed
• Support compliance with HIPAA, policies, and IT standards; cross-cover multiple Patient Services stations
