American Oncology Network, Inc. is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to deliver front-end patient support by handling intake, scheduling, medical records, and payments in a busy oncology clinic.

You will work across stations to ensure accurate documentation in the EMR, maintain HIPAA compliance, and coordinate with financial counselors to resolve billing issues. This on-site role supports multiple sites with a strong focus on patient experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma; Associates degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of one year in a healthcare setting; physician office experience preferred.
• Skills & competencies: strong interpersonal/communication skills, multitasking ability, and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients professionally, verify identity, check in, document in the EMR, and collect co-pays.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments; coordinate with physicians and staff across stations.
• Maintain and file patient records in the EMR and billing systems, ensuring HIPAA compliance.
