Job summary

Eightelevengroup is seeking a Patient Services Representative to serve as the first point of contact for patients, coordinating outpatient appointments across multiple specialties. The role starts fully onsite for the first three to four months, then transitions to fully remote work.

The position is a 2 month contract to hire with compensation at $17.50 per hour, requiring strong customer service, empathy, and teamwork to manage sensitive information and provide clear recommendations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential situations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with patients by actively listening to their concerns and questions, assessing their needs, and providing appropriate recommendations and clarifications.
• Coordinate outpatient appointments across multiple specialties, including routine, urgent, and emergency visits, as well as related testing.
• Work with callers to resolve complex problems by gaining a thorough understanding of operational processes and procedures.
• Become a subject matter expert in appointment scheduling, understanding nuanced processes and provider preferences to ensure optimal patient care.
• Utilize software systems to manage patient interactions, schedule appointments, and document relevant information accurately.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to callers through empathy, active listening, and a patient-centered approach.
• Promote a culture of positivity and teamwork within your team, contributing to a supportive and collaborative work environment
