Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Patient Access Specialist to handle inbound/outbound calls and emails, guiding new and existing patients through registration and scheduling while maintaining confidentiality. The role emphasizes compliance with HIPAA, strong organization, and proficient use of EMR platforms.

Initial work is on-site in Texas with potential transition to hybrid with some remote work after a probation period. Strong customer-service focus and bilingual Spanish skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• 1-2 years patient contact/scheduling experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA compliance and requirements.
• Ability to exhibit computer proficiency in Microsoft and EMR platforms and programs.
• Superior organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound and outbound telephone inquiries from prospective and existing patients.
• Deliver superior patient service on all calls, emails, and chat sessions.
• Instruct patients to complete required registration forms (internet, email, fax or mail).
• Log patient calls daily and route registration forms to the appropriate contact.
• Maintain monthly log for new patient referrals and mail new patient packets as requested.
• Assist supervisor as needed and maintain patient confidentiality.
