Optum is hiring for a remote, full-time Patient Support Specialist. You will work 40 hours per week on a shift schedule within our Pacific 8:00 AM–5:00 PM window, with potential overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Compensation ranges from $16 to $29 per hour depending on location and experience, with 5 weeks of paid on-the-job training (8:00 AM–4:30 PM PST). This role supports patients by coordinating care, benefits, eligibility, and scheduling with a focus on quality and service.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Must be 18+ with 2+ years customer service experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams; 40+ WPM typing.

Aufgaben

• Meet performance goals for patient satisfaction, accuracy, quality, and attendance.
• Adhere to department standards and daily adherence metrics.
• Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers.
• Multi-task with double monitors, data entry, and phone etiquette.
• Resolve patient issues and document interactions.
• Assist with PCP changes and Telehealth scheduling as needed.
