You will manage registrations, handle billing tasks, and coordinate referrals while ensuring patient confidentiality and timely service.

The role requires strong communication, multi-tasking, and proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office. Prior healthcare experience and familiarity with CPT/ICD-10 coding are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of customer service experience required.
• Experience in a medical office; urology preferred.
• Basic CPT coding and ICD-10 knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer multiple incoming calls and greet patients and visitors professionally.
• Register patients and update demographics, collecting personal and financial information.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances; assist with billing as needed.
• Obtain referrals/authorizations when required and document accordingly.
• Scan and file medical records and manage referrals and charge entries.
• Schedule follow-ups, surgeries, and imaging with proper authorizations.
• ProtectPHI and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and CMS guidelines.
