Job summary

MidLantic Urology seeks a Patient Service Representative II to ensure top-tier patient service and seamless intake. You will greet patients, collect payments, register new patients, and coordinate scheduling, acting as a bridge between clerical and clinical teams.

You will handle referrals, maintain PHI security, and support billing with timely charge entries while upholding HIPAA guidelines and high-quality service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office preferred.
• Ability to handle financial information with discretion.
• Familiarity with CPT/ICD-10 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer multiple incoming calls and greet patients.
• Register new patients and update demographics.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances.
• Process referrals and charge entries when required.
• Scan and file medical records into the patient chart.
• Schedule appointments, follow-ups, and surgeries as needed.
• Maintain patient flow and communicate delays to staff.
• Protect patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Assist billing by documenting procedures for billing within 48 hours.
