Job summary

Stanford Medicine Partners is seeking a Patient Service Representative II to support the care team by greeting patients, registering new and returning patients, and coordinating scheduling and insurance verification. You will operate within C-I-CARE standards to ensure exceptional patient service.

Typical duties include documenting in the EHR, answering calls, facilitating communication between patients and clinicians, and assisting with basic billing tasks.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication needed.
• Experience interacting with patients in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC or similar practice management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and register them professionally and efficiently.
• Assist with insurance coverage and eligibility verification.
• Schedule appointments and manage telephone requests with care.
• Navigate patient flow and document in the EHR with SBAR when needed.
• Handle cash deposits and balance daily transactions per protocol.
