Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience in a physician’s office or healthcare setting.
• Customer service skills.
• Basic office skills.
• CPT and diagnosis coding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient registration and eligibility verification.
• Provide excellent customer service in person and on the phone.
• Explain co-pays and balances; collect payments; schedule follow-ups.
• Coordinate transfer of patient medical records in a HIPAA-compliant manner.
• Schedule appointments efficiently to meet provider and patient expectations.
