Job summary

NKC Health Imaging for Women is seeking a Patient Service Representative to manage front office duties, patient registration, and scheduling for our imaging clinic. You will focus on accurate billing, patient co-pays, and coordinating records in a HIPAA-compliant manner.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years in a healthcare setting with strong customer service skills. City-based, day shift hours are typical.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Two years of experience in a physician’s office or healthcare setting.
• Customer service skills.
• Basic office skills.
• CPT and diagnosis coding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle front office duties with a focus on customer service and billing accuracy.
• Complete patient registration and verify eligibility accurately and timely.
• Inform patients of co-pays/deductibles, collect payments, and record them properly; schedule follow-ups and transfer records HIPAA-compliantly.
• Schedule appointments efficiently to meet provider and patient expectations; use two identifiers to reduce errors and duplicates.
• Demonstrate professional behavior, adhere to policies, and support NKC Health initiatives.
