Responsibilities

• Register and check-in patients, handle cashiering, collect co-pays, and provide receipts with timely accounting.
• Gather and provide information necessary for the check-in process and scheduling.
• Answer phones, direct calls, take messages, and follow up as needed.
• Provide routine financial guidance and benefits as applicable.
• Monitor Epic work queue for tracking internal/external consults.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments and reschedule when needed.
• Perform advanced clerical tasks under supervision and determine steps to complete assignments.
