Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 4–5 years of relevant healthcare administrative experience.
• Experience with EHR systems and patient payments is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors warmly and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using EHR systems.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations or referrals.
• Collect and process co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic and insurance information.
• Answer calls, respond to inquiries, and route messages.
• Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure timely patient flow.
• Handle medical records requests in compliance with HIPAA.
• Support administrative tasks such as scanning, faxing, and filing.
