Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic Life Support / AED certification is required.
• Experience coordinating activities in a busy medical office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter/update demographic information in EMR; capture patient photos and emails as needed.
• Greet patients and ensure sign-in and arrival is on schedule.
• Obtain signed documents (consents, financial, advance directives) and scan into medical records.
• Input financial information to determine Sliding Fee Scale level.
• Receive and post payments by cash, card, and check.
• Check patient eligibility (Medicaid/Medicare/third-party insurance) and contact insurers as needed.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments; maintain accurate appointment master schedule.
• Monitor front-end portals and fax EMR documents as required.
• Deliver and pick up mail, and comply with PPE and infection control.
