Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years front desk, scheduling, and customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with EMR and medical office software.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients, verify demographics, collect co-pays.
• Answer and direct calls; triage urgent clinical needs as needed.
• Schedule appointments and manage calendar; reschedule as required.
• Verify insurance information and processing authorizations.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EMR and paper files.
• Protect patient confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Support staff with chart retrieval and reporting.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and families.
