Balance Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative to be the first point of contact for patients, handling scheduling, check-in/check-out, and general front-desk duties in a fast-paced medical office setting in Avon, NY.

You will work closely with providers and patients to maintain efficient daily operations while delivering compassionate patient care. The role requires handling phones, appointments, and insurance-related tasks with accuracy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of front desk experience in a professional medical office environment.
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically ModMed.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls promptly and direct to the appropriate party, with detailed messages.
• Schedule appointments for new and existing patients by phone and in person.
• Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out processes.
• Use the EMR system to verify insurance coverage and process forms.
• Ensure referrals and prior authorizations are obtained and documented.
