The role requires 1-3 years of customer service in a medical setting, high school diploma, and comfort with medical terminology and basic CPT/ICD coding concepts. A fast-paced environment and strict confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Basic computer literacy and proficiency with common software applications.
• Ability to answer multiple incoming calls and greet patients professionally.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and visitors in person or by phone.
• Register new patients and update demographics and insurance information.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and balances; verify insurance details.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow with clinicians.
• Maintain front desk area, records, and office supplies.
• Protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA compliance.
