Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Experience in a medical office is preferred.
• Basic CPT/ICD knowledge is preferred.
• Strong communication and confidentiality skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and greets patients and visitors, in person or over the phone.
• Registers new patients and updates demographics and insurance information.
• Collects co-payments and outstanding balances.
• Verifies insurance information and obtains referrals when required.
• Schedules appointments and coordinates patient flow with clinical staff.
